Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of goalsnmynd.com, learn.goalsnmynd.com, and any class, course, coaching session, digital product, or service offered by GoalsNMynd Education and Wellness, LLC™ ("GoalsNMynd," "we," "our," "us"). By using our site or booking any service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who We Are

GoalsNMynd Education and Wellness, LLC™ is a Georgia limited liability company. Founder and lead instructor: LaShounn Stevenson, RN, AWHONN Intermediate & Advanced Fetal Monitoring Instructor, AHA BLS Instructor, NRP Provider.

2. Services We Provide

• Live and in-person nursing education classes (AWHONN Intermediate & Advanced Fetal Monitoring, AHA BLS, NRP, DTAG, Confidence Class).
• Group and hospital training contracts.
• Wellness coaching and 1:1 consultations.
• Downloadable digital products (PDF guides and toolkits).
• Affiliate referrals to wellness product partners.
• Educational blog content and email newsletters.

3. Booking, Payment, and Confirmation

• Individual classes are paid in full at booking through Stripe.
• Hospital and group contracts (6+ students) may use a 50% deposit / 50% balance structure, confirmed by signed invoice.
• A class is not confirmed until payment is received and you receive a written confirmation email.
• AWHONN Intermediate and Advanced Fetal Monitoring classes require a 2-student minimum per AWHONN policy. If we cannot reach the minimum, you will be offered the next available date or a full refund.
• Course materials (such as the AWHONN workbook) may be sold separately and are subject to the supplier's pricing and shipping.

4. Rescheduling & Cancellation

• 7+ days before class: Full refund or free reschedule.
• 48 hours – 7 days before class: 50% refund or free reschedule to a class within 90 days.
• Less than 48 hours before class, or no-show: No refund. One reschedule allowed at our discretion for a $50 administrative fee.
• Cancellations by us (instructor illness, minimum not met, weather, emergency): full refund or free reschedule, your choice.
• Hospital and group contracts follow the cancellation terms in the signed agreement, which supersede this section.

5. Certificates & Credentials

Certificates and eCards (AWHONN, AHA BLS, NRP) are issued after successful completion of all course requirements including attendance, skills check-off, and any required testing. We follow the standards of the credentialing body. We do not issue certificates for incomplete classes or for participants who fail required components.

6. Educational Disclaimer

Our content is for educational purposes only. It is not medical advice, nursing advice for a specific patient, or a substitute for institutional policy at your workplace. Always follow your facility's protocols and the standards of your governing board of nursing. Use of our materials does not create a nurse-patient, instructor-student employment, or supervisory relationship.

7. Wellness Disclaimer

Wellness coaching, fitness content, and any references to peptide or supplement products are not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Consult your physician before starting any new wellness, supplement, or exercise program. Affiliate product partners are responsible for their own product claims, formulations, and customer service.

8. Affiliate Disclosure

Some links on our site are affiliate links. If you click an affiliate link and make a purchase on the partner's website, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. We only recommend products we use ourselves or believe in.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on goalsnmynd.com — including text, images, course materials, slides, video, audio, PDFs, and the GoalsNMynd^™ brand, logos, and slogans ("Your Goals. Your Mind. Your Grind.^™" and "Consistency Creates Change.^™") — is owned by GoalsNMynd Education and Wellness, LLC™ or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not reproduce, redistribute, resell, or use our materials for commercial purposes without written permission. Personal, non-commercial use is permitted.

10. AWHONN and AHA Materials

Course content, workbooks, and certificates issued under AWHONN, the American Heart Association, or the American Academy of Pediatrics are the property of those organizations and subject to their respective terms.

11. User Conduct

By using our site or attending our classes, you agree not to:

• Record, photograph, or live-stream classes without written permission.
• Share course materials or login credentials with anyone outside your registration.
• Harass, intimidate, or discriminate against instructors, staff, or other students.
• Use our content to misrepresent your credentials or training.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by Georgia law, GoalsNMynd Education and Wellness, LLC™ is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim arising out of our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service that gave rise to the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GoalsNMynd Education and Wellness, LLC™ and its instructors from any claim arising out of your misuse of our content, violation of these Terms, or violation of any law.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Fulton County, Georgia.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
